Signed Docs Republic uses artificial intelligence in a few clearly-labelled places. This page explains what those tools are, what data they process, and how you stay in control. We are transparent because we want you to know when you are interacting with an AI system and when content has been generated by AI.
The short version
- Three AI tools run on this site: the AI Coach, the AI Proposal Writer, and the AI Brainrot Video Generator.
- Both clearly tell you they are AI before you start.
- AI-generated output — including videos — is labelled as such.
- Anything you type into an AI tool is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response — do not paste confidential information you are not comfortable sharing.
- No AI is used to make decisions about you, your account, or your eligibility for anything.
Where AI is used on this site
- AIAI Coach (/coach/) — a chatbot that plays a conversation partner so you can practise difficult workplace conversations, then gives structured feedback. The other party in the role-play is an AI, not a person.
- AIAI Proposal Writer (/proposal/) — turns a job posting (URL or pasted text) into a tailored freelance proposal. You paste the job and optionally your CV and portfolio links; the AI drafts the proposal text.
- AIAI Brainrot Video Generator (/brainrot/) — turns a topic (or your own script) into a ready-to-post 9:16 video: the script, the voiceover and the caption timing are all AI-generated. The background loops are licensed stock footage.
How the AI works
The interactive tools are powered by a third-party large language model (DeepSeek V4 Flash). When you submit text, it is sent to that provider to generate a streaming response, which is returned to your browser. The video generator uses the same model to write the script; the voiceover is synthesised with a separate text-to-speech engine (Microsoft Edge neural voices). We do not use your input to train or improve any model, and we do not sell your data.
What data is processed
- Coach: your messages and the generated replies, stored so you can revisit a conversation from your account.
- Proposal Writer: the job posting text, and any CV or portfolio links you paste, used only to generate the proposal. Proposals are not stored on our servers.
- Brainrot Video Generator: the topic or script you enter, used to generate the script and voiceover. Generated videos are stored briefly so you can download them, then automatically purged.
Because AI input is sent to a third-party provider, please do not enter sensitive personal data (passwords, financial account numbers, health records, or confidential client information) unless you are comfortable with it being processed by a third-party AI service. EU AI Act transparency
Under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), content that is generated or manipulated by AI must be disclosed in a clear and recognisable way so you always know when you are looking at AI output. Signed Docs Republic complies:
- Every AI tool and every AI-generated output on this site is labelled as AI-generated.
- This page explains exactly where and how AI is used, as required by Article 50 of the EU AI Act (transparency obligations for AI systems generating synthetic content).
- The rules on enforcement and penalties for non-compliance are set out in Article 99 of the EU AI Act.
Human oversight & accuracy
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You should review and edit anything the AI produces before using it. The Coach's feedback is guidance, not professional advice. Proposals are drafts for you to personalise and verify — ultimately you are responsible for what you send. Videos are generated from your topic or script and should be fact-checked before publishing. A human reviews our prompts and outputs periodically, but every output is best treated as a starting point, not a final answer.
No automated decisions about you
We do not use AI to make automated decisions that produce legal effects on you or significantly affect you (for example, credit decisions, eligibility, or pricing). AI here is a writing and practice tool only.
Your choices
- You are never required to use the AI tools. Every other feature of the site works without them.
- You can stop using them at any time — nothing is forced.
- The Coach requires an account so conversations can be saved; the Proposal Writer and the Video Generator do not require an account.
